Traditionally setts were used in streets and courtyards all over Ireland and the UK in the early 1940 period and can be seen in medieval towns and cities throughout Europe. A timeless look, from limestone setts to multicolored sandstone cobble stones, stone setts offer a look that is rustic and most importantly robust. These setts are usually laid in two linear rows adjacent to your stone kerbs, you can however lay three linear rows if you prefer and without kerbing, this is also a nice look.
